I am a mother of two very active girls, two very active dogs and one very active man...okay he's my husband. I graduated from Utah State University in 2005 in Family and Consumer Sciences Education. Basically this is the glorified name for a home economics teacher. I have not actually taught in a school setting, but I find that I use my expertise everyday as I am raising my children, running my home, and helping my neighbors.
I am very interested in sewing, cooking, and interior design. I have a background in music and art as well as drama. I used to run a small alterations business from my home with my biggest project being a wedding dress. (I don't think I'll do that again!)
I also love to read and have just started my first book club with the ladies in my neighborhood. I have always loved to read and lately I have been averaging 1-2 books a week, hence the book review tab.
